Tax Abatement Review Board
Industrial facilities in the Township which meet certain criteria, can apply for a tax abatement. The purpose of the Tax Abatement Review ("Industrial Facilities Tax") Board is to receive such applications and to review them to determine if the applicant meets the state and local guidelines that are in place. This board then makes a recommendation to the Township Board which decides whether the tax abatement should be granted.
